A Note from Jeffrey

The journey from your center to the page can be challenging, but it need not be self-destructive. You can navigate the writing journey's vagaries & victories with more awareness and less despair.

I am author of The Journey from the Center to the Page (Penguin 2004; Monkfish revised and updated ed. 2008), the first book to show writers how to center their minds by embodying their creative process. As a creativity consultant and editor, I mentor and coach best-selling writers, literary writers, business writers, scholars, PhD candidates, as well as aspiring writers and journalers curious about deepening their creative practice; plus, I doctor book proposals and manuscripts that sell. I also have developed a series of effective processes collectively called Yoga as Muse that I teach at the UNM Taos Writers' Conference, Kripalu Center, Mirabai Books in Woodstock, the Omega Institute, and elsewhere.

Read the services pages to see how Center To Page can transform your ideas into a book or your dreams into an authentic writing life. Then, join me at a workshop.

Chat with me at my Tracking Wonder Psychology Today blog, at Tiferet Journal where I'm Fiction Editor, and on our Facebook Fan Page.

Above all else, write what you and only you are called to write. If not you, who?
